Plot: Rid Riddell (Gable) wins race horse Tommy Boy in a bet. At first he races the horse honestly, but then begins to race dirty, pulling him out of races to collect on the losses. When Tommy Boy loses a race he was supposed to win, Rid ends up in debt with some dangerous gangsters, so he transfers ownership of Tommy to his lady friend, Ruby (Evans).
